Yasamin Saadat

Yasamin is a M.Sc. student in Information Technology Engineering, Networked Systems. Before her M.Sc., she got her B.Sc. from Sharif University of Technology in computer science. She is a teaching assistant for Mining of Massive Datasets, Complex Networks and Graph Algorithms courses.

As a member of KDD lab, she is working on Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Graph Embedding and their applications in Recommendation Systems. Her MSc thesis is entitled as “Representation Learning for Graph-based Recommendation Systems”. In her thesis, she seeks to learn representations encompassing both collaborative information and connectivity patterns in graph for top-N item recommendation. Yasamin’s research interests are mainly Machine Learning, Graph Mining and Recommendation Systems
