Negar Sadrzadeh

Negar is a M.Sc. student in computer science (decision science and knowledge engineering). She’s got a B.Sc. from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic) in computer science. She is a teaching assistant for Artificial Intelligence, Statistical Learning and Multi Criteria Decision Making courses.

Passionate about animals especially horses, She’s been riding since she was 7 and has been working as a rider and veterinary assistant in professional stables. With her background knowledge about horses she is interested to use deep learning for equine welfare. The title of her thesis is “Using Machine Learning for Automated Pain Recognition in horses”. Her main research interests are in the areas of computer vision, machine learning, deep learning and their applications on animal welfare.
